Empowering Churches to Advance the Gospel

Ellis Baptist Association (EBA) offers Church Mission and Ministry Grants to help congregations expand their ministries, collaborate with other churches, and impact their communities.

These grants provide seed funds for innovative projects, leadership development, and emergency needs, fostering unity, cooperation, and growth among EBA churches.

How Grants Can Be Used

Grant funds are designed to support gospel-centered initiatives that align with the mission of EBA. Examples of eligible projects include:

  • Outreach: Community events and evangelistic efforts.
  • Leadership Training: Equipping church leaders with skills for ministry.
  • Scripture Distribution: Spreading the Word of God.Discipleship
  • Programs: Building faith within your congregation.
  • Women’s or Men’s Conferences: Hosting impactful events.
  • Sabbaticals: Supporting pastoral rest and renewal.
  • Summer Interns: Empowering young leaders to serve.

Note: Grants cannot be used for personnel expenses or buildings, except in cases of repair emergencies.

Application Details

Deadlines

Applications are accepted three times per year, with deadlines at 12:00 PM on:

  • January 1
  • May 1
  • September 1

Submission Guidelines

Congregations may apply as individual churches or in partnership with other EBA churches for group projects or events. Applications for emergencies are also accepted outside of these timelines.

Award Notifications

Grant recipients will be notified within one week following the next EBA Leadership Team meeting.
