Bridging Communities
Connecting Churches, Cultures, Generations, and Communities
Equipping churches to foster unity through outreach, collaboration, and intentional engagement with diverse communities.
Why Bridging Communities Matters
We have a vision to connect our churches and communities together in Ellis County. We seek to connect our churches to our communities, and churches to one another. By fostering these connections we hope to see churches working together for the common good of the community and the Kingdom.
Diverse Generations: Churches across Ellis County encompass members from all age groups, each with unique values and perspectives. EBA helps bridge these generational differences to create stronger, united congregations.
Cultural Harmony: As the population in Ellis County grows, we focus on connecting rural and suburban communities while fostering respect for cultural diversity.
Spanish-Speaking Outreach: With a significant number of new residents identifying as Spanish-speaking, we actively support churches in welcoming and serving this growing demographic.

How We Bridge Communities

African American Ministries
EBA hosts a fellowship for African American Churches. In the Greater Ellis County Area to build partnerships that encourage relationships, collaboration, and spiritual growth.
These gatherings will be hosted quarterly. Please contact Demetrius McClendon from One Church in Midlothian for more information.
Supporting Spanish-Speaking Churches and Ministries
We are dedicated to helping churches and ministries address the needs of Spanish-speaking populations by:
- Offering support for launching Spanish-speaking congregations.
- Establish ministries in church.
- Providing leadership development tailored to multicultural ministry.
- Sharing resources to help churches navigate cultural and language differences.
