Church Mission and Ministry grants are available to EBA congregations. These resources are dedicated for church planting, church revitalization, leadership development, gospel-centered community transformation and emergencies.
Grants are not for personnel expenses but could be used towards a sabbatical. It is not for buildings except repair emergencies. The Church Mission and Ministry grant awards are often seed funds for new ministries or projects. Congregations may submit for subsequent or greater support to be considered and evaluated by the leadership team. In an effort to promote networking and partnership among the churches of Ellis Baptist Association, the grant funds will be applied for as an individual church or as a group partnering on a project or event. Some of the things the funds could be used for are as follows:
Outreach
Leadership Training
Scripture Distribution
Discipleship
Women’s or Men’s Conferences
Sabbatical
Summer Interns
This list is certainly not exhaustive and if there is an emergency that comes up for which your church could use funds, those applications are also accepted. Applications will be accepted quarterly. The deadlines for receiving applications is by 12:00 pm on or before January 1, May 1 or September 1 of each year. Grantees will be notified of awards and funding schedules within one week following the next EBA Leadership Team meeting.
